2019 SBAA Grand Prix Series :: SBAA Junior Grand Prix Series


The SBAA Junior Grand Prix is a series of races to promote competition within the youth running community. Youth runners can sign up in their age group for designated races that will qualify for the SBAA Junior Grand Prix Series. Runners will earn points based on their finishing place and win awards at the SBAA year-end banquet. All participants must be a member in good standing of the SBAA.


The Benefits of being part of the SBAA Junior Grand Prix include:
  • Free Junior Grand Prix T-Shirt for each participant
  • Free or discounted race entries to SBAA Junior Grand Prix events
  • Awards at the year-end SBAA banquet for top finishers
  • Be a part of an organization that supports and promotes youth running, health, and fitness


The age groups for determining year-end awards for both youth male and female divisions are as follows:
  • 8 years and under
  • 09-10 years
  • 11-12 years
  • 13-14 years
  • 15-16 years
  • 17-18 years

Qualifying Jr. GP Events

The qualifying Junior Grand Prix Series races are designated in the SBAA Jr GP Race Calendar.

Participants must finish at least 4 Junior Grand Prix races to be eligable for any Grand Prix award. Only the 8 best age division finishes will be counted.
